Critical Cloth

A free day, and the oppertunity to soak up some culture.
I visited Nottingham Castle to see the work of Rhiannon Williams, my Context lecturer.
Not the first time I had seen her work, but I had been so captivated by it the first time and its concept that I was eager to see it again, and how it had been displayed.
The setting was certainly rather grand, and the work looked great. There were a surprising number of visitors wandering around the exhibition. Shelly Goldsmiths work was also wonderful.

Take the time to visit the exhibition if your interested in Textiles with a message:

(A significant irony at the Lotto logo on the flyer, given the nature of Rhiannon's work :))
